Today upon looking over some of Dr. Charles Stanley’s sermons I came upon this sermon, titled: Together in the Christian Life, which is in the Life Principles series. It is based upon the precepts found in Hebrews 10:24-25 which reminds us that as Christians we are not expected to “go it alone.” In contrast the writer of Hebrews inspires us to literally “irritate” (the underlying Greek word from the original manuscripts) one another toward good works (keeping in mind the good works are coming from the fruit that is produced by having the Holy Spirit within us, good works do NOT save us!). It is very comforting to know that not only is our Lord with us always we are to reminded to be spurring one another on in our walk with Him as well!
